Quorum Ballet® is a contemporary repertoire dance company that features a high level of demand, accuracy and quality in their performances. It was founded in 2005 by artistic director, choreographer and dancer Daniel Cardoso who created a contemporary repertoire dance company in Portugal, currently with 7 dancers.
Quorum Ballet® has introduced several pieces by Daniel Cardoso and several guest choreographers, including Thaddeus Davis, Jonathan Hollander, Itzik Galili, Donald Byrd among others, having created more than 25 productions, which include choreographic works for children and young people.
The accuracy and professionalism of the Quorum Ballet® have originated renewed invitations by the theatres and national and international institutions with which it has worked. It has performed in numerous cities around the country, including some of the most prestigious theaters like Teatro Camões, CCB, Teatro Tivoli, Teatro Municipal de Faro, Teatro Tempo in Portimão, Casa da Música in Porto, Santa Maria da Feira, among many others.
Internationally the company has performed in Denmark, USA (New York), Poland, Singapore, Macau, China, Cyprus, Serbia, Ecuador, the Netherlands, Thailand, Algeria, Spain, Germany, Switzerland, Romania and Finland.
In the corporate events area contemporary dance has entered in "merger" with the creativity of 432 allowing the creation of customized solutions.
